Annie Juanita Beamon

Annie Juanita Beamon, 92, of the Macy Community went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 16. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 pm in the Cozart Funeral Chapel. Burial followed at the Macy Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was held before the service from 12 to 2 pm.

Annie Juanita Clifton was born January 23, 1920 in Yoakum, TX the parents William Richard and Annie (Romans) Clifton. She was a nurse for most of her life. Annie entered into marriage with James Robert Beamon December 13, 1937 and had 74 years together. She was a very active woman with her flowers, books and her love for music. Annie even enjoyed hunting for deer on occasion. Nothing brought her as much joy as her family. She enjoyed watching her family grow with each generation helping to take care of the younger kids.

Annie was preceded in death by both parents; 6 brothers and sisters; 1 son and three grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband James Robert Beamon; three sons James Richard Beamon and wife Betty Sue, Jerry Beamon and wife LaRue, and Gene Beamon and wife Sandra; a daughter Deborah Biedanski and husband Roger Sr.; a brother Edwin Earl Clifton and wife Marilyn; three sister-in-law’s Mamie Lou Glover, JoAnn Clifton, and Lorina Clifton; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
