Zula Sheppard

Zula Blackshear Sheppard, age 92, of Hilltop Lakes passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2019 in Bryan.

Zula was born in Houston on March 20, 1927 to O. E. and Martha (Moore) Blackshear. She grew up in the Houston area where she met and married the love of her life, Frank Miller Sheppard Jr. He preceded her in death in 1999.

Zula has lived in the Normangee area for 40 years where she attended the Church of Christ of Normangee.

She leaves behind from her passing two daughters, Linda Sanders and Marilyn Cooper. She also leaves behind her five grandchildren, Jason and wife Sarah Sanders, Wesley and wife Theresa Sanders, Allen and wife Jamie Sanders, Michelle and husband Mike Tewold and Stephanie and husband Eric Ray. She also leaves behind her thirteen great grandchildren.
