Virginia Ruth Hanson

Virginia Ruth Hanson, of Hilltop Lakes, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 24, 2016. A time for the family to receive friends will be Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Hilltop Lakes Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 1:00 pm also at Hilltop Lakes Chapel with Dr. Tony Taylor, pastor officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.

Ruth, as she was known to all who knew her, was born to M. L. and Florence (St. Clair) Clark in Raymondville, Texas on February 2, 1940. She graduated from Danbury High School and eventually retired from Amoco Chemical.

Ruth is married to her love Raymond Paul Hanson. She and Paul have lived for several years in the Hilltop Lakes community and she had really dedicated her time, at her church, Hilltop Lakes Chapel.

She leaves behind her husband Paul as well as two sons Charlie Bishop of Walburg, Texas, Robert Hanson of Bacliff, Texas and her two daughters Belinda Amaya of Port Lavaca, Texas, and Ginger Novak of Danbury, Texas. She also leaves behind, the real joys in life, which are her eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and her three great-great grandchildren.
