Vickie Dale Parker

September 10, 1955 — October 1, 2021

Vickie Dale Parker always loved so big.  She was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She left this world to walk those streets of gold with not pain and with joy in her heart on October 1, 2021

Vickie was born to Clayton & Gertrude Parker on September 10, 1955.  She attended Elkhart high, where to no surprise to many was crowned homecoming queen in 1973.  After high school she married and had the joy of her world, her son Matthew Scott Williams.

Vickie loved and cared for people so deeply.  Throughout her life she took so many in and under her wings.  She loved living life, she loved showing her son the world and how to embrace it all.  She had a contagious laugh and the purest smile.  But don’t be fooled, don’t get on her bad side, she was a momma bear when it came to the people that she loved.

Vickie was one of 7 children. Brothers Johnny, Jimmy and Roger; Sisters Helen, Carol and twin sister Rickie.  After coming from a big family as you can imagine Vickie always wanted grandbabies and she was blessed with six, Tanner, Madison, Bailey, Mason, Skyla and Gunner.  She adored every one of them, and they brought so much joy to her.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am October 6, 2021, at the Flynn Assembly of God church in Flynn, Texas.

Burial to follow the service in Elkhart, Texas at Pilgrim Cemetery, tentatively at 1:15pm.
