Valda Joan Greenfield

Valda Joan Greenfield, age 85, of Normangee went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. A time for visitation will be Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:30 am at Cozart Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm and interment will be at Ten Mile Cemetery. Pastor Gary Luckey will be officiating.

Valda was born in Mexia, Tx. on November 10, 1932 to Ross and Essie Dudney Sr. She grew up in Alice, Tx. where she, met and married, the love of her life Ronald Greenfield in 1958. They moved to the Normangee area in 1990. Valda loved her family and focused most of her energy on them.

Left behind from her passing is her husband Ronald, a son David and wife Peggy Hines. Four daughters, Robbie and husband David Keys, Debbie and husband David Atherton, Beth and husband Charlie Gross and Tami and husband John Dean. She also leaves behind a brother Ross and wife Michele Dudney Jr. as well as 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and five great great grandsons.
