Richard Allen Feuhs

July 29, 1938 — December 30, 2013

Richard Allen Feuhs, 75, of Normangee, passed away Monday, December 30, at his home surrounded by loved ones. Visitation was held Thursday, January 2, from 5 to 7 pm at Cozart Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Friday, January 3, at 10 am in the Cozart Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Wade Phillips presided over services. Burial followed at the Plainview Cemetery. Funeral services have been entrusted to Cozart Funeral Home of Normangee.

Richard Feuhs was born in Houston, TX on July 29, 1938 to his parents Otto Bernhardt and Clara (Drobina) Feuhs. Richard was a Dairyman and Rancher for most of his life. He had a quick wit about him and was a good practical joker. Being an outdoorsman was always part of his life. He would enjoy hunting and fishing or just gardening in his yard. Richard was a great cook and loved to B-B-Q for the family. He loved his family very much and was a kind, generous, and caring person to all he met. In his later years he loved to hop in the car with his dog Adolph and ride the back roads. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

Survivors include his children; a daughter, Patricia Lynn Daley and husband David; two sons, Douglas Martin Feuhs, and Daniel Allen Feuhs and wife Caryn; a sister Gwendolyn Brackett; 6 grandchildren, Jonathan Hodges and wife Monica, Matthew Hodges and wife Amber, Bryson Adam Feuhs, Lydia Miller and husband Randall, Heath Bernhardt Feuhs, and Hannah Catherine Feuhs; 4 great grandchildren, Hayley, Conner, Lillian, Westyn; a niece Lynda Brackett; a nephew Layne Wilkerson; former wife, dear friend, and caretaker Clara Ruth Feuhs; and to his very special friend, pet, and companion Adolph.
