Richard Carter

Richard Carter, 64, of Normangee, passed away May 19, 2021 after a short fight against cancer.

Born August 5,1956 in Chattanooga, TN, to Floyd and Elizabeth Carter. Richard was loved by his family and friends. His grandsons meant the world to him. He always enjoyed helping others as long as you did not mind him giving you a hard time while he helped you. He was a hard worker and owned his own business for over 35 years.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers. He is survived by his wife Becky Carter; son Jeremy Carter; daughter Jamie Bell and son-in-law Clint Bell; grandchildren Peyton Bell and Lance Bell.

Cozart Funeral Home will be holding a graveside service on Monday, May 24th at 11:00 am at Hopewell Cemetery with Certified Life Celebrant Dawn Lee Wakefield officiating.
