Ollie Francis Watson

Ollie Frances Watson, 88, of Normangee, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 13. Services were held Saturday, April 16, at Cozart Funeral Home in Normangee, at 2:00 p.m. Burial followed at the Venetia Cemetery with Bro. Gary Dawkins presiding. Visitation was held at Cozart Funeral Home Friday, April 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. Services have been entrusted to Cozart Funeral Home.

Ollie Frances McCormick was born March 2, 1923 to parents of Alan and Pearl (Archer) McCormick in Marquez, Texas. She was married to Wilburn “Carl” Watson September 22, 1956. Ollie was a member of the Red Hat Society, an avid Bingo player, and loved Domino’s.

She was preceded in death by both parents, Alan and Pearl McCormick; her husband, Wilburn “Carl” Watson; two brothers, Edward “Shorty” McCormick, and Bill McCormick; a son-in-law Darrell Bishop; a grandson Donald Ray Bishop; and a granddaughter Sarah Frances Bishop.

Ollie is survived by her daughter; Alma Bishop and sister in Law; Irene Watson; and seven grand children Becky Bishop, Darrell “Little Man” Bishop Jr. & wife Sylvia, Billy Bishop, Carl Bishop and wife Rena, John Bishop, Herman Bishop, Kevin Bishop; and six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Carl Bishop, Charles Currie, Darrell Bishop, Jr., Shane Holmes, Kevin Bishop, and Chris Rankin; and two honorary pallbearers Ronnie Meadows, and Thomas Collard.
