Margaret Ann Hutchins

Margaret Hutchins, 71, of Flynn, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, in Madisonville, TX. Visitation will begin at 9:30 with her Life Tribute Celebration at 10 am, Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Gum Springs Cemetery – Flynn. Services are in the care of Cozart Funeral Home – Normangee.

Margaret was born to Tom Crouch and Jessie Nesmith Douthitt on September 4, 1949 in Bedias, TX. She may have been a petite lady but was larger than life in personality and provided for her family through hard work. She was a heavy equipment operator for most of her life and self- employed. She enjoyed being outdoors and she often said that her life was like a picnic, getting to eat lunch at work under a tree with her late husband, Gene. Margaret was the living definition of a hard worker and there was nothing she couldn’t do. She enjoyed her down time hunting and saltwater fishing with family and friends. She truly enjoyed sharing her cooking with the family during the holidays. Her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will miss her for the affections she shared with each one.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Tom Crouch and Jessie Douthitt; her granddaughter, Kylee Harris; her sisters, Mary Clark and Betty Holton.

Surviving Margaret are her daughters, Kelly Horn, Michelle Livanec, and Leslie and husband Reggie Harris; her grandchildren, Marcus and wife Leah Sanders, Maci Sanders, Dalton Rowe, Lauren Harris, Kody and wife Shelby Harris, Lexi Harris, and Dusti Harris; her sister, Janette Taylor; 7 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and close friends.
