Lyndall Francies Greer Schultz

Lyndall Greer Shultz, 92, of Pottsboro, Texas passed away Saturday, April 9, in Sherman, Texas. Mrs. Shultz was a former resident of Normangee, TX. Graveside services were held 11:00 am Tuesday, April 12, at Greer Cemetery with Pastor Billy Vier as the presider. There was a visitation held at Cozart Funeral Home on Monday, April 11, from 6 to 8 pm. Services have been entrusted to Cozart Funeral Home.

Lyndall Greer was born August 22, 1918 to the parents of William Ed and Lula Artie (Holiday) Greer. She was married to Woodrow (Woody) Ransom Shultz November 23, 1943 and had three boys. Lyndall was a sales associate at Mathis Jewelry in Houston for 24 years. She retired to Normangee, TX in 1978 and lived there till 2004 when she moved to Pottsboro, TX. Mrs. Shultz was a member of the Preston Community Church in Pottsboro.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; William and Lula Greer; her husband Woodrow Shultz; two brothers Furman W. Greer, and Robert Greer; three sisters Lera Mathis, Maurene Batson, and Lillian McWilliams.

Lyndall is survived by her three sons; Woody Shultz and wife Glynda of Normangee, Tommy Shultz and wife Nancy of Dallas, and Bill Shultz and wife Rhetta of Pottsboro; three grandsons; Stephen Shultz and wife Shanda of The Woodlands, Jonathan Shultz of Austin, and Brent Shultz of Dallas; three granddaughters; Christa Worley and husband Daryl of Waco, Sarah Zeigler and husband Jeff of Austin, and Melanie Love and husband Chad of Melissa; and seven great-grandchildren; Tyler, Brenna, Marshall, Greerson, Henry, Lauren, and Caroline; close friends Bill, Susan, Keith, and Katie all of Conroe; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

Pallbearers were Gary Greer, Mike Greer, Ronnie Greer, Jimmy Carl Greer, Jeff Greer, Blake Greer, Jeff Presnal, and Justin Presnal. Honorary pallbearers were F. W. (Skeezix) Greer, Asel Greer, Gene Greer, Billy J. (Sonny) Greer, Henry L. (Sonny) Presnal, and O. E. (Buster) Smith.
