Karen Jo (Wells) Roberts, 62 of Normangee passed away July 20, 2020 at her home.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10:00 am

at Madisonville Cemetery, Madisonville, Texas.

Karen Was born August 4, 1957 in Bryan, Texas to parents Julius Edgar Wells, Jr

and Betty Jo (Lewis)Wells. She graduated from Madisonville High School in 1975.

She went on to Graduate from Alvin Community College with a degree in court

reporting. She worked for the firm Carter and Carroll in Houston. When she

returned to Madisonville in 1996, she worked as a paralegal for Roger Knight,

Jr. until she retired in 2019.

Karen loved many things in life. She loved her Grandchildren more than anything

in the world. She enjoyed dominos, crossword puzzles, old reruns (especially

game shows), and football. She was particularly fond of college football and of

course, the Dallas Cowboys!

Karen is preceded in death by her father, J.E. Wells, Jr. and Stepfather, Eddie

Ward.

She is survived by her mother Betty Jo Ward, a daughter Lyn Shaw and husband

Royce, brothers Gordon Wells and wife Becky, David Wells and wife Kim, and Bruce

Wells, a sister Kerri Reynolds and husband Buddy, and Dorothy Wells,

grandchildren Madilyn Ogle, Marlee Shaw, and Garrett Shaw as well as many

beloved aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
