Herschel Roy Huffine

Herschel Roy Huffine, age 76 of Hilltop Lakes, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020. A time for the family to receive friends will be Friday, January 17, 2020 from 5 – 7 pm at First Baptist Church, Normangee, Texas. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Shirley, pastor officiating.

Herschel was born May 26, 1943 in Paragould, Ark. to Eskio Herschel and Bertha Hazel (French) Huffine. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force, then went on to become a sales manager for Terex for which he worked for 45 years. He met and married the love of his life Gail Snyder on February 24, 1989 in Tolland, Ct.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Gail. Two daughters, Alasha and husband Charles Harger, Clarissa and husband Scott Etzel. His three sons, Michael and wife Jennifer Huffine, Roscoe Miller and wife Kathleen and Jeffery and wife Lorin Miller. He is also survived by his greatest loves, his twenty one grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He also leaves behind two brothers, Bill and wife Janet Huffine and Donnie and wife Glenda Huffine, and his sister Bess and husband Nelson Johnson.
