Dorothy Mae Perry

Dorothy Mae Perry, 84, of Normangee passed away Monday, December 24, at Sherwood Health Care in Bryan. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 27, from 5 to 7 pm at the Cozart Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 28, at 11 am at Cozart Funeral Home. Pastor Doug Utermark along with Bro. Jeff Munsey will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery near Madisonville. Services have been entrusted to Davis Cozart Funeral Home.

Dorothy Mae Culbreth was born in Madisonville, TX on March 10, 1928. Her parents Henry and Mada (Whitten) Culbreth raised her in Madisonville and she graduated from Madisonville High School. She married Alvin Perry in May 25, 1945 and moved to Normangee in 1978. She was an avid gardener and was always tending to her flowers. Dorothy loved her family very much and raised multiple generations.

Dorothy is survived by her children; two sons, Wayne Perry and wife Shirley, and Paul Perry and wife Tracey; three daughters, Connie Moore and husband Gary, Janet Bowman and husband Gene, and Cindy Munsey and husband Jeff. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
