Donna Bledsoe Gawrysiak

Donna Bledsoe Gawrysiak, 59, left for the heavens Wednesday, July 18, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Visitation will be held Friday, July 20, from 6 to 8 pm at the Cozart Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, at the Union Baptist Church at 10 am. Brother Chase Murphy is to preside over the services. Burial will follow in the Ten Mile Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Cozart Funeral Home.

Donna Bledsoe was born September 2, 1952 in Houston, TX to her parents Horace “Pokey” and Mary Ann Bledsoe. She grew up in North Houston area and attended Sam Houston High School. Donna worked for several local law firms and investment companies where she met many lifelong friends. Donna was preceded in death by both her parents and her husband Daniel Gawrysiak.

Survivors include her sister Debra and husband Chuck Spicer; three brothers Kenny Bledsoe, Ricky and wife Kelly Bledsoe, and Jeff and wife Pamala Bledsoe; mother-in-law Casey Gawrysiak; step-son Daniel Gawrysiak; and grandson Matthew; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
