Annie Opal “Bobbie” Wilson, 92, of Ashville, Alabama, passed away Saturday, July 23, in Gadsden, AL. Services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, July 28, at Willowhole Cemetery with Bro. Will Odom presiding. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27, from 6 to 8 at Cozart Funeral Home. Services have been entrusted to Cozart Funeral Home.

Bobbie Roberts was born to Robert R. and Laura “Gustavus” Roberts on July 31, 1918 in North Zulch, TX. She had many siblings who were all born in North Zulch, Joe Rogers Roberts, Dave Noel Roberts, Robert Homer Roberts, Ben Cole Roberts, William Glynn Roberts, and Hamilton Clay Roberts. Annie Opal Roberts married Mart Cole in July 23, 1945 and after his passing married Gerald Wilson on April 18, 1964.

Bobbie was preceded in death by both her parents Robert and Laura Roberts; her husband Mart Cole; and brothers, Joe, Dave, Robert, Ben, Glynn, and Clay Roberts.

She is survived by her husband Gerald Wilson; two daughters Gypsy Cole of Gonzales, TX, and Joyce Schaefer of Port Lavaca, TX; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers make donations to your local SPCA.
