Billy Ray Cole

Billy Ray Cole, 85, of Normangee, passed away Saturday, December 20, at the Hospice Brazos Valley in patient facility in Bryan. Graveside services were held Monday, December 22, at 11 am at the Ten Mile Cemetery. Deacon Steve Cole was there to preside over services. Funeral services have been entrusted to Cozart Funeral Home in Normangee.

Billy Ray Cole was born January 30, 1929 to his parents Dan and LuLa (Hudson) Cole at their home in Madison County. Billy went to work in the fields as a young boy to help his family. He later learned how to be a Lineman for electric and telephone companies. Billy enjoyed hunting and raising his cattle.

Billy was preceded in death by both of his parents Dan and Lula Cole; and a daughter Lyndal Ray Cole. He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Webster and Billie Ann Cole; a son John Franklin Cole; and many nieces and nephews.
