Ben Bequette Sr.

Benjamin “Ben” Todd Bequette Sr., 44, of Normangee, Texas, passed away Tuesday May 10, 2022. The family will host friends during a time of visitation and fellowship immediately following the 11am Sunday, May 15 church service at Union (Ten Mile) Baptist Church, 7610 FM2289 in Normangee.

Ben was born April 11, 1978 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to Duane Bequette and Vanessa Hall Bequette. He graduated from Texas A&M University Class of 2005 with a BA Degree in Biomedical Science. Ben served honorably in the United States Army 82^nd Airborne. He worked at Normangee Tractor in assembly and make ready. Ben will also be remembered for his love of hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his son, Benjamin Todd Bequette Jr.; mother, Vanessa Bequette; father Duane Bequette and wife Leesa; sister, Dr. Erin Bequette and husband Colin Kemmis; niece, Violet Kemmis, and nephew Turner Kemmis.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in Ben’s memory to Folds of Honor at foldsofhonor.org, or to the Union (Ten Mile) Baptist Church.
