Willie Dot Haston

Willie Dot Haston, 95, of Normangee passed away Wednesday, April 16, at the St. Joseph Manor in Bryan. Funeral services were held Monday, April 21, at 11 am in the Church of Christ in Normangee. Bro Will Odom presided over services. Burial followed at the Sand Prairie Cemetery. Funeral services were arranged thru Cozart Funeral Home in Normangee.

Willie Dot Crow was born November 20, 1918 in Normangee, TX to her parents William and Mamie (Nixon) Crow. She was married to her husband George Haston on August 28, 1942. Dot had lived almost all of her life in Normangee. She loved to ride her bike.   Dot enjoyed playing card games with her friends from town. She was a secretary most of her life working for Hilltop Lakes business office and also for Dr. Bilsing, at his family clinic.

She is survived by three nephews Mark Herr, Gene Herr and Mike Anderson; two nieces Rosemary Duty and husband Wayne, and Lou Ellen Herr and fiancé Jim Dozier; and a brother-in-law Herbert Herr.
