Raymond G. Perkins

Raymond G. Perkins, 91, former Hilltop Lakes resident passed away Thursday, January 17, at Kindred Hospital in Tomball. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 pm in the Hilltop Lakes Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11-1 at Cozart Funeral Home on Sunday, January 20. Burial will follow services at Hopewell Cememtery.

Raymond Perkins was born March 27, 1921 in Thickett, TX to his parents Raymond and Mittie (Patterson) Perkins. Raymond married Jackie Lalley Perkins on February 5, 1946 they were married 66 years. Raymond graduated Cum Laude from Baylor University and Magna Cum Laude from TCU with a Masters in Education. He worked for Nasa for many years and taught many astronauts. Ray also worked for LTV engineering air planes. Raymond was preceded in death by both parents; and son Van Perkins.

Survivors include his wife Jackie Perkins of Tomball; a son Greg Perkins and wife Liz of Little Elm, TX; a daughter Priscilla Hamic of Tomball.
