Raymond Paul Hanson

Raymond Paul Hanson, age 72, of Hilltop Lakes, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in Madisonville. A time for the family to receive friends will be Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at Hilltop Lakes Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 at Hilltop Lakes Chapel with Dr. Tony Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.

Paul Hanson was born in Houston on October 22, 1946 to Raymond James and Annie Elizabeth Hanson. He grew up in Houston and went on to proudly serve his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After leaving the service he worked as an electrician and was a proud member of the IBEW union. He married Virginia Ruth (Clark) Hanson who preceded him in death in 2016.

Survivors include his son Robert Hanson of Bacliff, a step son Charlie Bishop and two step daughters Ginger Novak and Belinda Amaya. He is also survived by his granddaughters Alyssa and Kaylie Hanson.
