Marguerite Whitworth

Lonna Marguerite Whitworth, known to all as Marguerite, passed away on September 14, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in College Station. She was born on January 31, 1942, in Springhill, Louisiana, to Sam and Rachel Maddry. Marguerite married Leslie Eugene Whitworth in Fort Stockton, Texas, and together they lived all over the world, raising three children.

In addition to her parents, Marguerite was predeceased by her husband, Leslie Eugene Whitworth, and her daughter, Leslie Ann Sires.

She is survived by her daughter, Beth Teofan; her son, Samuel Whitworth, and his wife, Natalie; her grandchildren, Jason, Damien, Rachel, Samantha, Amber, Alys Ann, Haylee, Hannah, Ashlynn, Amanda, and Alyee; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Ann, and her husband, John Anderson.

Marguerite is and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
