Lorain Adrianne Helton
Lorain Adrianne Helton, 81, of Normangee passed away Saturday, May 11, at the Madisonville Care Center. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 12, from 6 to 8 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Normangee. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 13, at First United Methodist Church of Normangee at 1:30 pm. Pastor Richard Prather will preside over services. Burial will follow at the Hopewell Cemetery in Normangee. Services have been entrusted to Cozart Funeral Home.
Lorain Adrianne DeBouy was born October 9, 1931 in Galveston, TX to her parents Percival and Florian (Alexander) DeBouy. She was married to Felix Helton Jr. in 1952. Lorain graduated from college and started to teach at school. She taught Sunday school for many years and was very active in the church. Lorain would love to take care of her cows and sit on the back porch and read her bible.
Lorain is survived by her son, Felix Helton III and wife Marisol; and her brother-in-law Bill Jones; and many friends that she loved very much.
Lorain was a kind and generous person and lived her life doing the work of our Precious Lord. She was extremely good to my Mother In Law ,Edna Fuchs. As her Sunday School teacher and friend she brought Mama Fuchs much joy. Our condolences to her family during your time of great loss. We hope you are comforted knowing that you will be with Lorain again in a beautiful Heaven.
