Juanita Mojica, 70, of Normangee went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26. She passed at the St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Services will be held on Saturday, July 30, at 10:30 am at the Amazing Grace Bible Church where she was a member. Bro. Dean Wieghat is the presider and she will be buried at the Hopewell Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held at Cozart Funeral Home on Friday, July 29, from 6 to 8 pm.

Juanita Perez was born to the parents Juan and Feliz “Rocha” Perez on February 1, 1941 in San Marcos, Texas. She married Joel Mojica in 1976 and was an ordained Minister. Juanita was devoted church member and an avid Bible Studier. Mrs. Mojica was a dedicated mother and wife as well as an inspiration to her church. She was a true friend to many that knew her and she will be missed dearly.

Juanita is survived by her son Roberto Carbajal and wife Rebecca; four daughters, Rosa Davis and husband Michael, Marie Smith, Jessica Ramirez, and Consuela Carbajal; five brothers, Sulema, Bruno, Johnny, Henry, and Tommy; five sisters, Sarah, Ismerelda, Susana, Joann, and Eloisia; She has 19 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
