Jimmy Lagravier, 76, of Normangee passed away Thursday, February 20, in Bryan, TX. Visitation was held Sunday, February 23, at Cozart Funeral Home from 5 to7 pm. Funeral services were held Monday, February 24, also at Cozart Funeral Home at 11 am. Brother Kerry Stroud presided over services. Burial followed at the Ten Mile Cemetery.

Jimmy Lagravier was born March 13, 1937 in Normangee to his parents Jack and Allene (Kelly) Lagravier. He was a high school graduate and then joined the US Army. Jimmy loved to build with his hands. He was always building something, he was most proud of the Mecca Barn he built. Jimmy was a John Wayne fan and watched all of his movies. He enjoyed traveling to casinos when able. He also loved to be outdoors, either taking care of his cows or just building something in the back yard. Jimmy was a perfectionist not stopping until it was just right. This showed thru in his love for his family and especially in his grandson Aidan.

Survivors include his wife Patty Lagravier; a daughter Amber Raley and husband Adam; a stepson Jessie Farmer; a brother Edward Lagravier and wife Edna; a grandson Aidan Raley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
