Irma Estelle Williams Vice, 85, of North Zulch, TX passed away on April 1, 2014, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Visitation was held Thursday, April 3, at Cozart Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services were held Friday, April 4, at the Iola Worship Center at 1 pm. Reverend Billy Dale Evans presided over services. Burial followed at the Bedias Methodist Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Cozart Funeral Home of Normangee.


Irma Estelle Williams was born in Iola, TX on June 19, 1928 to her parents Alda and Asa Williams. She was married to the love of her life John C. Vice on August 13, 1956.


Irma loved spending time with her family. She was never happier than when she was surrounded by family. She carried a deep love for her children and she had a special love for all of her grandchildren. She was a helping hand, spirited leader, and a dear friend. When Ms. Irma was your friend, she was your friend for life.


Irma was proceeded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, and 2 sons; Douglas Vice and David Stephens. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John C. Vice; daughters Debra McGinty husband Carl “Possum” of North Zulch; and Linda Collins husband Charles of Jarrell, Texas; 12 grandchildren (Kay, Charley Bill, Brandi, Scott, Kelby, AJ, Tiffany, Jason, Dusty, Riz, John, and Trace); 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Special thanks and love to Linda May Vann and her nurses Casey and Alicia.
