On Sunday July 5, 2020, Gary Cooper, of Hilltop Lakes TX, loving husband, father of four children, and pawpaw, passed away at the age of 75. Graveside services will be officiated by Johnny Martin and held at Gibson Hill Cemetery in Berry, AL on July 11, 2020 at 2:00PM.

Gary served in the Navy, he was a retired supervisor in surface coal mining for approximately 43 years. Gary truly enjoyed spending time with his family, grandkids and watching Alabama Crimson Tide Football.

He was preceded in death by his father Willie Cooper, mother Viva Cooper, and brother Thomas Cooper.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte Cooper (Hilltop Lakes, Texas), daughters Theresa Minor husband Jeff (Quinton, AL), Darlene Lyons husband Gary (Roan Mountain, TN), Cindy Roberson husband Otis (Roan Mountain, TN), and son Andrew Cooper wife Kameron (Hilltop Lakes, TX), sister Betty Dodd & husband Doyle, brothers George Cooper, Mack Cooper, Billy Cooper & wife Sharon, Ricky Cooper, Ronnie Cooper & wife Diana,
7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer society or Veterans Organization would be appreciated.
