May 4, 1962 ~ September 18, 2017

Douglas Martin Feuhs was born May 4, 1962 in Tomball, Texas to Richard and Clara (Taylor) Feuhs. He was a graduate of Madisonville High School in 1980. He grew up on the family dairy farm, milking cows alongside his dad and brother. He held many jobs throughout the years, but found his true passion as the owner and operator of Big County Leather, making all types of handmade leather goods. Mostly he enjoyed regaling his customers with his stories and life tales, because Doug never met a stranger. One of his favorite pastimes was attending the Renaissance Festival every year, always dressing the part and enjoying all the food.

Doug is preceded in death by his father, Richard Feuhs.

He is survived by his mother, Clara Feuhs of Normangee, a son Bryson Feuhs of Bedias, daughter Lydia Miller and husband Randall of Huntsville, and son Heath Feuhs of Normangee. A sister, Patricia Daley and husband David of Normangee and a brother Daniel Feuhs and wife Caryn of Normangee. Grandsons Westyn and Eastyn Miller of Huntsville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service is set for Friday, September 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Cozart Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association in Honor of Douglas.

He called just last week to make sure we were ok after Hurricane Irma hit Miami. He went and visited my Dad in the nursing home and would let me know how he was. Doug you will be missed more than words can say. I pray you knew how much you were loved. May you rest in peace with the Lord. Edwin Dossett
