Charles Wallace Bell

Charles Wallace Bell, age 83, of Normangee passed away Friday, April 3, 2020. Graveside services will be Monday April 6, 2020 at 12:30pm at Hopewell Cemetery with Brother Will Odom, pastor of Normangee Church of Christ officiating.

Charles was born in Ennis, Texas to Charlie Elbert and Myrtle Mae Ruffin Bell. He grew up in the Houston area. He married the love of his life Molly Batson in Houston on July 9, 1955. He spent most of his career as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service, after retiring he became a Leon Co. Deputy Sheriff serving for over 20 years. He and Molly have lived in the Normangee area since 1979.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Molly, his children, Brenda (Tim) Waldrip of Madisonville, Bubba (Lorraine) Bell of Texarkana and Terry (Melisa) Bell of Richmond along with six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
