Billy Ray Busa, 34, of Normangee, was called home to the Lord Tuesday, September 15, 2015. Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, from 6 to 8 pm at the First Baptist Church of Normangee. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 19, at 10 am at First Baptist Church of Normangee. Bro. Bob Shirley will be presiding over services. Burial will follow service at Gum Springs Cemetery in Flynn, TX.

Billy Ray Busa was born in Grimes County Texas to his parents Brosig Thomas and Betty (Curtis) Busa on September 17, 1980. Billy was married to the love of his life Andrea Mayfield. He was a loving father and cherished each moment he spent with all of his children. Billy was a kind and gentle man who loved his career. He was a Kennel Sargent for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He was one of the lead trainers for the correctional search dogs. He also loved to train dogs for hunting. Only one kind of hunting was his passion wild hogs. Billy was a Co-Youth Pastor with his wife at the First Baptist Church of Normangee.

Billy Busa was preceded in death by his father Brosig Thomas Busa.

He is survived by his loving wife, Andrea (Mayfield) Busa; and their children, Brianna Day, Jesse Busa, Joshua Hogard, and Cameron Busa; his mother and stepfather Betty and Sam Busa; two sisters, Beverly Hayes and husband Thomas, and Barbara Mosley; a brother, Bobby Busa and wife Stephine; and nieces and nephews Trevor Johnson, Trenton Johnson, Trevor Hayes, Travis Hayes, Karina Cook, Charlie Cook, Clayton Cook, and Breanne Mosley; and great-nieces and nephews, Marissa, Harley, Nicholas, J B, Lexi, and Cooper.
