Beatrice Oma Lacefield was born November 4, 1933 in DeQueen, Arkansas to her parents Dale and Edith (McIntyre) Lacefield. She was preceded in death by her husband Elnor Rein Grimes. Beatrice Grimes or “Bea” as most knew her was a talented photographer. She owned and operated a successful photography business photographing numerous schools for several years in Dallas, TX before retiring to Flynn, TX. Bea was a social butterfly whom loved to be around people. While living in Flynn she was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Women’s Missionary Association for many years. Cooking, gardening, playing games, singing and decorating for the holidays were some of her favorite pastimes. Often she would play 42 and Bunko with family and friends for hours. Singing came naturally to Bea. She had a beautiful voice and loved to share it with everyone and was often asked to sing for church functions and special events. Bea loved family and especially loved her children and grandchildren. She was born into a large family and was one of eleven siblings. The one thing she enjoyed most of all was traveling and visiting her family all over the United States.

Bea is survived by her children; three sons, Michael, Keith, and Jonathan; a daughter, Sandy; four step daughters, Brenda, Debbie, Peggy, and Lisa; a brother, Dean; three sisters, Alta, Virginia, and Joyce; two sister-in-laws Audrey and Gladys; numerous grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
