Amelia DelaRosa, Licensed Funeral Director, was born and raised in Bryan, Texas. She attended and graduated from Mumford ISD in 2018 and entered college in Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. As a youngster who attended several family funerals.

She then decided to pursue nursing as a course of study to potentially help others as they deal with the illnesses of their loved ones.

A turning point in her studies occurred when her grandmother passed away in 2019 and Callaway-Jones took her into care. The professionalism and compassion she witnessed convinced her that she wanted to pursue funeral arranging as a future career. In the Spring of 2023, Amelia graduated from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston and became a licensed Funeral Director immediately following graduation. 

Amelia says the best part of serving her families is being able to help them through their time of grief  and facilitate services and celebrations of life that allow the family to say goodbye to their loved one in a comforting manner as she assists in creating a positive supportive experience in their time of grief to honor their loved one.

In her time away from work, Amelia is Mom to her precious son, Waylon, and their fur baby, Koda, a Belgian Malinois. She also enjoys working out at the gym and spending time with all her family and friends.
